    BEST. SUSHI. EVER!

    The ocean beach roll and the yum yum roll are amazing. The rolls are fresh and are beautifully done. Our server was very sweet as well. My husband and I were blown away by how good it was.
    Unfortunately it's in a city I'll probably never visit again.

    We ordered a shrimp tempura roll and 2 bento boxes. I will use Nagoya as a comparable, since they are similar and Nagoya Madison, MS offers consistent, quality food. Nagoya's sushi is superior in my humble opinion. However Asahi's bento box is much better. The tuna was hot, delicious and a larger portion. Instead of 2 small mounds of cold fried rice, a generous amount of fried rice was served hot. A spring roll and Chinese dumpling were included which I had to let cool. I would rather have food that is slightly too hot instead of cold food that should be served hot. Asahi's salad was cool and tasty. Two small slices of orange were also included. My compliments to the chef!

    Including us, this restaurant had only 8 customers during Sunday lunch. Why such a low turnout? My theory is their waitstaff. Our hostess, lacked basic social skills! She did not appear to be a foreigner so maybe it was her first day on the job without training. Our waiter had the personality of a bar of soap. A sad sight to see this restaurant that serves good food at  reasonable prices struggle due to its waitstaff.

    Always. Get. The. Hana. Roll.

    They have wonderful sushi. Best in the jxn metro area. Hana roll is my fav but the rock n roll and tootsie roll are fabulous too!! Highly recommend steamed dumplings to begin with!

    This is the best sushi around. I love the red dragoon and volcano rolls. They also do good pick up orders.

    Just moved here from Hawai'i and we are so picky with our sushi and this place was delicious!! It's kinda hidden but don't give up! I promise it's worth it and our server was super awesome and very friendly! This will definitely be our go to for sushi while we're here!
